Join our team as an innovative senior frontend developer! While we value full-stack experience, your primary focus will be on frontend development. In this role, you'll work hand-in-hand with our talented teams to craft captivating digital experiences for our clients. You'll enjoy a variety of responsibilities, including supporting client project delivery, along with enhancing and developing our internal web and native applications and websites.Collaborate with clients to help them describe the value of their technologies via web and native applicationsLead the planning, building, testing and deployment of web and native applications to meet client needsWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeBuild and maintain a deployment infrastructure for web and native applications that adheres to client security requirementsCollaborate with design team and project teams to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsSupport business development, marketing and design with HEOR website performance improvement, accessibility and maintenanceContribute to new project proposal development by identifying solutions to client needsProvoke the industry to think differently by contributing to and delivering thought leadership projectsCollaborating with cross-functional HEOR teams to generate internal IP – by creating re-usable assets and infrastructureCollaborate with operational research group colleagues to develop HEOR coding best practicesSupport the development and implementation of solutions to optimise internal processes and productivity e.g. via internal web apps/toolsRequirementsWhat you'll bring to the team:Proven experience as a full-stack developer working in the consulting, life sciences or the pharmaceutical industryDegree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related fieldStrong front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.jsBack-end development experience with Python and strong hands-on knowledge of Node.js/Next.jsSolid understanding of cloud architecture and deployment, particularly with Microsoft AzureFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as TerraformExperience designing and developing RESTful and GraphQL APIsProficient in testing and debugging, including unit, integration, and automated testing using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, and CypressKnowledge of authentication, security best practices, and frameworks such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials PlusExperience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOpsIf you are passionate about building innovative web applications and eager to make a difference in healthcare through technology, we would love to hear from you!BenefitsCompetitive compensation and benefits package, including: A ‘learning’ culture focused on personal development and supported by study bursaries Workplace pension scheme Private health insurance with AXA Health Range of high street, supermarket, restaurant, gym membership, holiday and entertainment discounts via Pluxee Cycle to work scheme Employee assistance programme Employees are given an additional day of leave for: their wedding and moving house Annual leave purchase scheme of up to 10 additional days’ leave per year If you would like to request any reasonable adjustment, for any part of the recruitment process (including application), please let us know by emailing careers@heor.co.uk
