Key Responsibilities - Cover Supervisor Role Deliver structured, pre-planned lessons created by qualified teaching staff. Promote positive behaviour for learning and maintain a focused, inclusive classroom climate. Use effective behaviour management strategies in line with whole-school policies. Provide learning support and ensure learners remain engaged and on task. Demonstrate adaptability when supervising a range of subjects and year groups. Build positive relationships with students, fostering respect, resilience, and independence. Who We're Looking For Experience working with young people in settings such as tutoring, coaching, mentoring, youth work, childcare, or schools. Confident in leading a classroom and delivering pre-set learning activities. Strong communication skills with a calm, student-centred approach. Ability to adapt quickly to different learning environments within a secondary school. Passionate about supporting pupil progress, wellbeing, and engagement.
