About the Role: As a History Teacher, your responsibilities may include: Planning and delivering History lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous) Teaching a broad and engaging curriculum covering key historical periods, events, and themes Developing students' critical thinking, analytical, and evaluative skills Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback Embedding key skills such as chronology, interpretation, and source analysis Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies Working collaboratively with department colleagues and pastoral teams Supporting enrichment opportunities such as study sessions or themed projects You'll have the opportunity to work in different school settings, allowing you to find the environment that best matches your teaching style.
