This secondary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a confident SEN Teaching Assistant who can be that steady, positive force in the classroom.The role You’ll be working with students who have a mix of additional needs, from autism and ADHD to social, emotional, and mental health needs. No two days will look the same, but you’ll be part of a supportive team who really value their TAs.Your day might include: Supporting students in lessons across subjects Helping young people stay focused and confident Breaking down tasks so learning feels manageable Supporting emotional regulation during busy moments Encouraging independence and celebrating progress Working closely with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral teams What the school is looking for Secondary experience is handy but not essential. What matters most is your attitude: calm, consistent, and encouraging.
