KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 3) – Immediate StartLocation: South ManchesterStart Date: ASAPContract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only Are you a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? GSL Education Manchester is currently recruiting for a KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in South Manchester.This is a full-time role, starting immediately, supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, including Year 3 to Year 6, with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, learning difficulties, sensory needs, and social-emotional challenges. About the Role Working closely with the SENCO and class teachers, you will: Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with varying needs across KS2Assist with differentiation and curriculum access, using strategies suited to individual EHCP targetsPromote emotional regulation, concentration, and independence in the classroomSupport pupils with personal care or sensory regulation as requiredMonitor and record progress, behaviour, and interventions in collaboration with teaching staff This is a key support role for the school’s SEND provision, and would suit someone calm, resilient, and committed to making a difference. What We’re Looking For: Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent) – essentialExperience supporting children with SEN in a primary or KS2 settingConfident supporting a variety of additional needs, including ASC, ADHD, and learning difficultiesStrong communication and teamwork skillsA nurturing, proactive, and patient approachA clear understanding of safeguarding, EHCPs, and inclusive educationAvailability to start ASAP and commit on a full-time basis Why Apply?
