We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association operating across London, who are looking to appoint a Housing Officer on a permanent basis.This will be a full-time position based in Central London, with hybrid working (3 days home working) and a salary of £38,000 per annum.The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Housing Officer, hold a Basic DBS and also have access to their own vehicle.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Delivering face-to-face tenancy management and support customers throughout their tenancy lifecycleManaging tenancy changes and enforcement, including legal action for breaches and dealing with complex enquiriesPromote community engagement and safety, resolving nuisance behaviour and building strong local relationshipsSafeguarding vulnerable residents by identifying needs, signposting to support, and escalating concernsCollaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellent customer service and tenancy sustainmentMaintaining accurate records and stay informed on relevant legislation, policies, and procedures Experience required: Experience required in Social HousingExperience working for a Housing Association Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Customer focussedGood communicationEmpowering and supportiveGoal driven Rewards and Benefits: Hybrid working – 3 days working from home Working hours: 37.5 hours per weekMonday – Friday, 7.5 hours a day Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.Don’t forget our recommendation scheme: Recommend a friend or colleague to us and receive up to £100 each once they have completed 20 days in a role via James Andrews!
