We are seeking a patient, caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of special educational needs.About the role The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to provide personalised support, helping pupils access the curriculum, develop independence, and make strong progress both academically and emotionally.Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN, including those with learning difficulties, communication needs, ASD, ADHD, or social, emotional and mental health needs.Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual needs.Support pupils in developing communication, confidence, social skills and positive behaviourAbout the school A welcoming, inclusive and nurturing school where every child is valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.A strong focus on providing a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment where children feel confident, respected and motivated.A dedicated and supportive staff team committed to high standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care.Requirements To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will: Experience working with children with SENUnderstanding of strategies for supporting pupils with diverse learning or behavioural needsCalm, compassionate, and flexible approach to supporting children Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
