As a Business Development Representative you'll be working in our sales team to build up and nurture our pipeline of potential customers. You'll develop a keen understanding of our SaaS solution to be able to understand the clients' challenges and problem-solve how our tool could help their businesses. Day-to-day you'll be responsible to: Source leads by prospecting through outbound calling, email outreach, social media outreach Handle inbound leads from Marketing or events Nurture, further qualify, and ultimately convert these leads into product demonstration meetings for our Business Development Managers Serve as a key contact point for potential customers to discuss their technical requirements, budgets, timelines, and scope for implementation Occasionally attend demonstrations and trade shows around the UK with our BDMs Create Requests for Information and complete tenders to win new business opportunities Collaborate with marketing to think creatively about potential new avenues for attracting prospects You'll be working alongside the other BDRs in our London and Manchester branches, reporting into the Sales Director of the UK. You'll collaborate closely with our Business Development Managers as well as our marketing team. About you 1-3 years experience in B2B sales with demonstrated ability to sell technology Strong prospecting and research skills A 1st or 2:1 university degree preferred - all disciplines welcome Target-driven and competitive, with a hunter mentality to drive new business development Exceptional, persuasive, and professional communication skills Customer-orientated and sales-minded A team player with the ability to build relationships Ambitious and eager to learn
