Teaching Assistant needed for a Y5 pupil working 1:1 The primary school is based in South Gloucestershire near Longwell Green. They're looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Y5 who has an ASD diagnosis. The child has difficulty attending classes and needs extra help to structure his day. This is a full time role and there's an opportunity for the role to go permanent. The school is well lead with a supportive team and a headteacher who is friendly, well-liked and respected in the community. We therefore offer up to £105.89 per day. Hours The school hours are 08:30 - 3:30 each day Monday to Friday. Skills Base Display patience, resilience and empathy Good knowledge of the curriculum would be beneficial but not essential A knowledge of ASD is a benefit Experience working in a school or education based setting preferable but not essential How to get there The school is easily accessible by car and numerous bus routes.
