They’re looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant who’s steady, patient and genuinely wants to help pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn.What you’ll be doing
Providing 1:1 and small-group behaviour support throughout the school day
Helping pupils regulate emotions, manage routines and stay engaged in lessons
Using consistent, positive strategies recommended by the pastoral and SEN teams
Building trust with pupils who rely on calm adults around them
Supporting teachers to create a settled, positive classroom environment
Celebrating the small steps forward… because they’re the ones that matter
What the school is looking for
Someone who stays composed and reassuring under pressure
A good communicator who builds positive relationships quickly
Experience in behaviour support, youth work, care or SEN is helpful, but not essential
A flexible, team-focused approach
A natural warmth that helps young people feel safe and understood

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
