Position: Hands-On Groundwork Ganger Location: Bristol, BS1 Start Date: ASAP Rate: £25 per hour Duration: Until November 2026 Parking: Available Drug & Alcohol Testing: Required MadiganGill are looking for an experienced and reliable Groundwork Ganger to join our team on a major infrastructure project in Bristol. The role requires a hands-on, proactive individual with solid experience in groundwork and finishing, including work on bus lanes, cycle paths, and other similar projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead a small team in the execution of groundwork and finishing works. Oversee daily site operations and ensure safety standards are met. Carry out works such as setting up bus lanes, cycle paths, drainage, and other groundworks. Ensure tasks are completed to a high standard, within scope and on schedule. Liaise with site managers and supervisors to ensure smooth project progression. Essential Requirements: Proven experience as a Groundwork Ganger, specifically with finishing works. Strong experience working on bus lanes, cycle paths, and similar projects. SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) certificate is a must. Ability to manage small teams and work independently. Valid CSCS card. Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) must be worn. Drug and alcohol testing will be conducted. Additional Information: The position is available immediately and will run until November 2026. Parking available on-site. Competitive rate of £25 per hour.
