This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about working with children and wants to make a real difference in the classroom—whether you are building experience towards a future teaching career or strengthening your impact as a support professional.You will be supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).Key Responsibilities: Classroom Support: Work closely with the class teacher to support, motivate, and engage pupils in their learning.1:1 & Small Group Support: Provide targeted one-to-one and small group intervention, particularly for pupils with SEN.Student Development: Help pupils develop confidence, resilience, and self-esteem in a safe and supportive environment.Learning Strategies: Use active listening and tailored learning strategies to support progress and individual development. The successful Teaching Assistant will have: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.Confidence supporting children with SEN on a one-to-one basis.Basic knowledge of child development and learning support strategies.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.A caring, empathetic, and proactive attitude.
