This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who can engage and motivate pupils with diverse needs, helping them re-engage with learning through tailored, inclusive, and creative approaches.Role Responsibilities of Alternative Provision Teacher: Plan and deliver personalised lessons that support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.Teach across a range of subjects, adapting materials to meet individual learning needs.Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for pupils who require alternative provision.Promote resilience, independence, and confidence in learners.Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and external agencies to ensure coordinated support and effective provision. What You’ll Bring as an Alternative Provision Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.Experience teaching in Alternative Provision, PRU, SEMH, or similar environments.The ability to engage students through creative, flexible, and trauma-informed practice.Strong communication, behaviour management, and relationship-building skills.Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
