Production Supervisor | Dorchester | £32,000 per annumAbout the RoleOur client, a well-established manufacturer, is seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to join their production team on a permanent basis.This is a key role where the successful candidate will lead and inspire a team of operators to produce high-quality products while meeting productivity and cost-efficiency targets.ResponsibilitiesThe Production Supervisor, will be responsible for: Leading and motivating a team of flexible operators to produce high-quality products in line with agreed quality, productivity and cost targetsCollaborating with managers to develop and implement SHE (Safety, health and environment) policies to ensure a safe and accident-free working environmentEnsuring that the plant operates at maximum efficiency, maintaining target cycle times and ensuring the work area remains clean and safe at all timesSupporting continuous improvement initiatives across safety, product quality, productivity and costBuilding positive relationships with the manufacturing teams to ensure excellent customer service. RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have: Proven experience within the manufacturing sector and in leadership rolesA strong understanding of Health & Safety policiesExcellent timekeeping skillsA commitment to quality and delivering exceptional customer serviceA proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
