Affinity Workforce Solutions is delighted to be working with a multi-academy trust in Weston-super-Mare to appoint a full-time Science Teacher. This role involves delivering dynamic and engaging science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, encouraging curiosity and independent learning. We're looking for a qualified teacher with UK classroom experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to inspire and motivate learners. The position is Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, paid on the MPS1-UPS3 scale, with the potential to become permanent. The successful applicant: Qualified Teachers Status Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1. Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job. Support in writing CV's and job applications. £200 for any successful referral of Teachers and £100 for Teaching Assistants. You will receive free, up to date safeguarding training. Training workshops and CPD courses to provide professional development. The option of working under a PAYE or Umbrella pay scheme.
