Job Description:At Dalkia UK, we have a great opportunity for a Mobile Cleaner to join our team based across multiple schools in Wirral and Liverpool. This is a part-time role on a 6 month temporary contract, with the opportunity to progress to a permanent contract.BenefitsVehicle and fuel card providedFull induction, training and uniformCompany pensionReferral program25 days holidayHoliday purchase schemeBirthday holidayHealth carePensionEnhanced maternity and paternity payPaid volunteer timeSick payHourly rate£12.21 per hourHours of workThis role will be working across two shifts each day7am-9am and 3pm-6pmResponsibilitiesVacuum carpeted areas of the buildingMop and buff vinyl and /or hard floor areas of the buildingClean toilet areas of the buildingPolish glass and brass work in the buildingCollect and remove rubbish and waste material to authorised disposal pointsTake responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment used in the course of your dutiesWork in a safe manner for the benefit of oneself and other occupants of the buildingDisplay appropriate signage to ensure that occupants of the building are aware on any circumstances that may affect their health and safety whilst cleaning operations are taking placeReport defects, deficiencies or health and safety related issues to the caretaker with minimum delayRemain security conscious and report any suspicious incidents or observations to the caretakerRequirementsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsUnderstand safe working practices and health and safety legislationAbility to work on own initiativeWell-organised and capable of prioritising own workFlexible approach to working as part of a teamPrevious experience working as a cleaner or similar roleExperience in the use of cleaning equipmentCOSHH training (Desirable)This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, the cost of which will be funded by the Company.
