You role will be to manage a diverse portfolio of clients from across EMEA and be the main contact for corporate tax matters. You will support and guide clients on and preparing and filing their corporate tax. The job will include the following typical duties and responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of corporate clients ( privately owned and entrepreneurial businesses to multi-national firms) to include the preparation of Corporation Tax ReturnsSupport wider tax team with corporate tax planning and other advisory mattersPlay an active role in business development on existing portfolio of clientsPrepare proposals and written advice across a range of topics to include multi-jurisdictional tax compliance, cross-border transactions and UK inbound/outbound investmentsContribute to the overall future growth of the corporate tax team and of the businessRespond quickly to, as well as anticipate client requests/needs, keep clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided and maintain regular contact with clientsLiaise with HMRC, clients, banks, other professionalsCandidate ProfileFluent English is essential. Fluency also in a 2nd language, such as Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese, Greek, Arabic, Russian or Turkish is an advantage but not essentialExperience working in a UK tax advisory and compliance departmentACA/ACCA qualifiedCTA qualified advantageous - high performing applicants with other relevant tax experience who hold a suitable foreign tax qualification will also be consideredSpecialist in Corporate Tax with a mix of compliance and advisory experience in a Top10 network firmStrong organization skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure on multiple projects to meet deadlinesExcellent level of Microsoft Office Suite, OneSource, IRIS, Sage, FreeAgent, Xero, Caseware, SAPSound knowledge of UK corporate and income taxationSalary & BenefitsCompetitive salary: £70,000 – £100,000.
