In this role, you will manage product enquiries and orders from clients, liaise with global suppliers, and ensure the efficient procurement and delivery of goods.Your typical job responsibilities will include: Research and engage with new and existing vendorsSource and compare pricing from multiple suppliersNegotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery agreements.Prepare and issue quotations to customers.Place and manage purchase orders.Monitor order progress and ensure timely delivery.Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to maintain delivery and quality standardsCarry out Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tasks.Candidate Profile, Skills and Background Fluent in German and English (spoken and written) is essentialStrong administrative skills and experience working with customersPrevious buying or purchasing experience is an advantage, though not essentialBackground in logistics or shipping is a plusExcellent communication and telephone skills are essential.Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a teamMust have full right to live and work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available.Salary, Benefits and Working Hours£30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience). Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-13:00 and 14:00-17:00 (37.5 hours/week). Flexibility may be required.
