The Role:The Practice Lead is responsible for driving the strategic growth, performance, and operational excellence of their practice area. This senior leadership role blends team management, client service, business development, and creative thinking. The ideal candidate is a commercially minded leader with deep sector expertise, a passion for impactful storytelling, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams. Only candidates with experience in a PR agency will be considered.Leadership & StrategyDefine and lead the vision and growth strategy for the practice areaAct as a senior advisor to clients, providing strategic counsel on communications, media, crisis management, and reputation issuesRepresent the practice on the agency’s leadership team and contribute to overall business planning and developmentClient & Campaign ManagementOversee delivery of high-quality campaigns across clients within the practiceBuild and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted partnerLead strategic planning, messaging development, media relations, and content strategiesTeam ManagementManage, mentor, and develop a team of PR professionals to ensure consistent performance and growthFoster a collaborative, high-performance team cultureSupport recruitment and onboarding of new team membersBusiness DevelopmentIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within the practice areaLead RFP responses, pitches, and presentationsGrow existing accounts through cross-sell and upsell opportunitiesOperational ExcellenceOversee project budgets, resourcing, and profitabilityEnsure best-in-class service delivery, client satisfaction, and process efficiencyCollaborate with finance and HR to support commercial and people strategiesRequirementsRequired Experience & Skills8+ years’ experience in public relations, communications, or a related field—preferably in an agency environmentProven experience leading campaigns for clients within the relevant sector (e.g., technology, healthcare, consumer, corporate)Strong leadership and people management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesTrack record of successful business development and client retentionMedia-savvy, creative, and commercially mindedBenefitsWhat the role can offer youAccess to a global network of specialized communicators collaborating with top-tier brands.Exposure to internationally acclaimed clients and campaigns focused on both performance and purpose.The opportunity to be part of a passionate and supportive team.Attractive Health Insurance benefits.
