Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)Hours: Full-time We're supporting a long-standing client to appoint a Payroll-led Finance professional who can take ownership of a busy, hands-on role within a small but fast-paced finance function. This position reports directly into the Finance Director and requires someone who is confident managing payroll independently and understands the sensitivity, deadlines and nuances involved. Key Responsibilities · Full end-to-end payroll ownership, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance· Managing monthly payroll deadlines, including adjustments, statutory payments and reconciliations· Accounts payable and receivable duties, including supplier payments, invoicing and credit control· Bank reconciliations, expenses, petty cash and general bookkeeping· Maintaining accurate ledgers and supporting month-end processes· Producing aged debtor/creditor reports and resolving queries· Supporting VAT returns, system improvements and process optimisation as the organisation continues to grow Essential Skills & Experience · Proven payroll experience - full end-to-end responsibility· Experience across AP, AR and general bookkeeping· Strong Excel and accounting systems skills· Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality and time management· Experience in the care sector is desirable but not essential Why Apply?
