Full-Time English Teacher – Secondary School in Waterlooville, HavantGSL Education are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Waterlooville, Havant. This position is available on a full-time basis (4 or 5 days per week) starting January 2026, with a fixed-term contract until the end of the academic year (July 2026). Applications are welcome from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators who are passionate about fostering a love of language and literature in young learners.Responsibilities of an English Teacher: Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons to secondary school students.Create and implement dynamic lesson plans that promote literacy, critical thinking, and creativity.Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence. Required Qualifications and Skills: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.A strong passion for teaching English and inspiring students.Experience teaching English at the secondary level (ECTs are encouraged to apply).Ability to design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
