Job Title: PMLD Teaching AssistantLocation: Tower Hamlets, E3 Start date: January 2026Industry: Education and Training Pay: £500-£550PWAre you an experienced PMLD Teaching Assistant seeking a new position in a SEND School in Tower Hamlets?PMLD SEN Support Staff Responsibilities:As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support and assistance to students with SEN. Your responsibilities will include: Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN, helping them with their academic and social development.Providing personal care to a pupil with PMLD needsAssisting in the planning and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.Supporting students during classroom activities, ensuring they are fully engaged and able to participate to the best of their abilities.Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Monitoring and recording the progress of students with SEN, and providing feedback to the teaching team. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.Must be willing to provide personal care Teaching Assistant & Childcare Level 1/2/3 qualificationsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the needs of all students.A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school environment.
