You’ll also help maintain and improve our IT infrastructure, support project delivery, and ensure our systems run smoothly and efficiently as we scale.This is a varied role where no two days are the same — from troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues to installing new equipment, liaising with suppliers, and supporting the rollout of new technologies.What You’ll Be DoingProviding first-line IT support via phone, remote access and occasional site visitsMaintaining reliable Wi-Fi and communications across all nurseriesSetting up and maintaining hardware, software, user accounts, and antivirusSupporting management information and finance systemsAssisting in IT projects alongside the ICT Director and senior technicianManaging relationships with external suppliers for repairs and maintenanceKeeping accurate asset registers and software licence recordsProviding basic user training and creating simple guidance notesEnsuring compliance with Health & Safety, GDPR and data security policiesWhat Success Looks LikeHelpdesk tickets resolved within agreed SLAsPositive feedback from colleagues on IT supportA well-maintained and reliable IT infrastructureSmooth delivery of IT projects on time and within budgetStrong supplier relationships that add value to the IT estateAbout YouWe’re looking for someone who’s both technical and personable, with a genuine passion for IT and problem-solving.
