We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and qualified Forest School Leader to join a vibrant and popular two-form entry primary school in the heart of Tower Hamlets. The successful candidate will lead engaging, child-centred outdoor learning sessions that inspire curiosity, confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of nature. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about outdoor education to make a meaningful impact on pupils' wellbeing and development. This one day a week role is a ASAP and will continue until July 202. Create a safe, nurturing outdoor learning environment that encourages independence, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. Assess pupils' progress and adapt activities to meet individual needs and abilities. Promote children's social, emotional, and physical development through nature-based learning. Maintain tools, equipment, and outdoor resources to a high standard. Carry out dynamic and site-specific risk assessments, ensuring all activities follow current Forest School and safeguarding guidelines. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders to integrate Forest School learning with the wider curriculum. Engage with parents, carers, and the wider school community to celebrate pupils' achievements. Model excellent behaviour management strategies in an outdoor context. Available to work 8Am - 16.30. A chance to build experience across different key stages and settings Who should Apply: Someone who holds a Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification or a Level 3 Teaching and Learning Certificate Has experience delivering Forest School or outdoor learning in an educational setting. Demonstrates a strong understanding of child development and inclusive practice. Is confident managing groups of children outdoors in all seasons. Communicates clearly and builds positive relationships with pupils and staff. Is passionate about sustainability, the natural world, and experiential learning.
