Van Driver / Porter – Full-Time Permanent Role Inverness £13.00 per hour (PAYE) Start Date: Immediate | Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00 Driver Hire Inverness is offering an opportunity for a Van Driver / Porter to join a well-established removals team on a full-time permanent basis. Previous removals experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is physically fit, customer-focused, and looking to grow within a supportive team. Occasional overtime and nights away may be required. ✅ What We Offer: Monday to Friday schedule (08:00 – 17:00) Occasional Saturday overtime, on-call, and nights away PAYE rates: £13.00 per hour Training provided Opportunities for career progression, including HGV licence training Immediate start available Company benefits: pension, cycle to work scheme, employee discount, on-site parking Key Responsibilities: Loading and unloading vehicles/storage containers with household or business contents Dismantling and reassembling furniture Packing fragile and non-fragile items Safely transporting goods to and from customer locations Providing excellent customer service at all times Assisting with general warehouse duties Conducting routine vehicle checks and reporting maintenance issues Adhering to safety protocols and company procedures Requirements: Valid UK Cat B Driving Licence Forklift experience (advantageous but not essential) Physically fit and capable of manual handling Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Driver Hire is a trusted recruitment agency providing skilled staff to a wide range of local businesses.
