989GREWarehouse Technician Hinkley Point C, Somerset Energy Innovation CentrePAYE £156 or £225 UmbrellaPrincipal AccountabilitiesThe warehouse technician will report to the warehouse & logistics operations lead. They will:• Update and manage the warehouse inventory system with great accuracy.• Receive material into inventory, move material by quantity between designated locations, and locate/pick material to/from warehouse locations as required.• Safely operate and / or work in the vicinity of many types of equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, pick trucks, electric carousels.• Use of material handling equipment to move material into, around and out of the facility• Maintain and organize warehouse with good housekeeping ensuring MSDS compliance with all chemicals stored in warehouse has records for chemical waste collection.• Inspection of goods and ensuring the correct quantity and quality.• Packing and labelling items.• Loading and unloading of inbound and outbound vehicles.• Maintain the warehouse with good house keeping.Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience• Good Organizational skills, attention to detail and good physical fitness.• Excel working in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.• Proficient in Office 365 tools such as Excel, Word etc.• Understanding of inventory and processes• Comfortable following process with a healthy questioning attitude.• Minimum requirement of education to GCSE/ National Qualifications standards.• Driving license.
