As a company dedicated to innovation and excellence, we strive to revolutionize the way athletes train and cyclists ride.Role OverviewAs a Service Technician, you will be responsible for assessing, servicing, and repairing Wattbikes, including full breakdowns and rebuilds. You will also conduct quality control (QC) checks on bikes per the daily manifest. A high level of attention to detail is required to ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, providing an excellent first-time service. The role involves being able to:Evaluate, diagnose, service, and repair Wattbikes.Conduct QC checks on bikes before dispatch.Communicate effectively with the wider operations team via email and instant messenger.Maintain general Service Centre duties, including cleaning, dispatch, quality control, and goods inwards (bikes, tools, workstations, and working areas).Support the quality control unit to meet business needs and requirements.Ensure all products are correctly labelled and prepared for shipping.RequirementsSkills, Knowledge & Experience:Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar mechanical or technical role.Experience working in a KPI-driven environment.Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.Hardworking and proactive team player.Good IT skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets and Microsoft Office Suite.Measures of success First-Time Fix Rate: High percentage of bikes successfully repaired on the first attempt without rework.Average handle time: Efficient completion of servicing and repairs within set timeframes.Quality Control Pass Rate: Consistently meeting or exceeding QC standards for serviced, recon and loan bikes.Customer Satisfaction: Positive feedback from internal teams and customers on service quality.Compliance & Safety: Adherence to health & safety protocols and service procedures.Stock & Tool Management: Effective use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and spare parts to minimize waste and downtime.Process Improvement: Contribution to identifying and implementing efficiency improvements in the service process.BenefitsWhat You’ll Get 26 days holiday per year + bank holidays Pension and free life insurance A Wattbike on loan for your home On site training zone and cycling/running groups Ongoing support for personal progression
