Maternity Cover Teacher - Junior School (Sandwich) Location: Sandwich, Kent Contract: Maternity Cover (Full-time) Start Date: As soon as possible About the Role Simply Education is working with a welcoming junior school in Sandwich who are seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment. The successful teacher will take on full classroom responsibilities, delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils while maintaining a warm, nurturing classroom atmosphere. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every pupil can succeed. Assess, record, and report on pupils' progress effectively. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents. Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values. What We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (KS2). Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
