A brilliant opportunity for a Graduate Test Engineer to join a growing technology company working on complex and innovative software solutions used by clients across the globe. You will be joining the development team at an exciting time of growth, with the chance to specialise in either automation testing or manual testing.Location: Leicestershire – hybrid, expected in the office at least 2 days per week (some public transport available from Leicester, Rugby and Market Harborough but much easier if you drive)Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum + benefitsRequirements for Graduate Test EngineerDegree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field, or equivalent commercial experienceExcellent attention to detail with a strong testing mentalityFor the automation-focused role: knowledge of automation tools such as SpecFlow, TestComplete, or similar frameworksFor the manual-focused role: experience writing and executing test cases and working to test plansAbility to grasp complex systems and learn quicklyClear communication skills and a collaborative approachBeneficial experience: SQL, XML, Jira, Jenkins, relational databases, or web services An interest in working on large-scale, business-critical software systems would be an advantageResponsibilities for Graduate Test EngineerTesting complex software products within the system test teamWriting and executing test cases, creating accurate bug reports, and tracking progressApplying manual and automated testing methods to ensure software qualityWorking to defined processes and deadlines in an Agile environmentCollaborating with other Test Engineers and Developers to support product developmentWhat this role offers:The opportunity to specialise in either manual or automation testing and build a career in software quality assuranceA structured training programme with hands-on involvement from day oneA supportive culture with excellent collaboration and modern office facilitiesApplicationsIf you would like to apply for this Junior Test Engineer opportunity, please send your CV via the relevant links!We’re committed to creating an inclusive and accessible recruitment process.
