As a Grad SEN TA, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve success both academically and emotionally.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain school-based experience, especially if you are considering a future career in teaching, psychology, SEN, social work, or therapy.Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with special educational needs.Assist with communication, emotional regulation, academic tasks, and daily skills.Implement personalised strategies under guidance from SENCOs and teachers.Build positive, trusting relationships to promote student well-being.Support classroom routines and help create an inclusive learning environment. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A recent degree (Education, Psychology, Social Sciences or similar desirable).A patient, empathetic, and proactive mindset.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs.A genuine desire to grow and develop as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant.Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
