This position is ideal for someone with experience in behaviour management, youth work, pastoral care, or mentoring who is motivated to make a genuine difference to students’ academic progress and emotional development.Key Responsibilities Provide in-class support and deliver small-group behaviour interventions Help remove barriers to learning arising from behavioural or emotional challenges Mentor pupils to boost confidence, resilience, and motivation Work closely with teaching staff to maintain a positive and respectful learning environment Record behaviour incidents and contribute to targeted intervention strategies The Ideal Candidate Experience supporting young people with behavioural needs in school or youth settings Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly Calm, patient, and consistent approach to behaviour support Committed to promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and student wellbeing A team player with a proactive, growth-focused mindset Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one) Why Work with Supply Desk?
