They have fantastic business relationships for translation work with some of the industry's most recognised companies.LOCATION100%, fully remote workingJOB RESPONSIBILITIESTo join their international translation department, they wish to recruit a QA Coordinator. You will be working as part of a friendly quality assurance team that work on large and complex translation projects. The role will be to ensure that all Quality Assurance (QA) jobs are completed in a timely and accurate manner. It requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work well with changing levels of workload. The Quality Assurance team is involved in the translation process after the file has been translated and reviewed by our linguistic team. Your role will typically include the following duties and responsibilities: Ensuring that files are final and ready for the project management teamPrepare and package the files for the final client deliveryChecking that no unnecessary comments remain in the file, using MemoQ to run a final QAEnsure that the linguist has addressed all flags from the systemEnsuring any client specific requirements have been metLiaise with internal teams and suppliers regarding any queries or feedback arising from the quality assurance processEnsure that procedures are continually adhered toAd hoc tasks on request by the QA ManagerCANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS Fluent English is essential. Fluency in other languages is an advantage - due to the nature of the company and translation industry - but not essentialBe recently educated to degree level from a languages or translation degree (preferred)Self-motivated with a hands-on can-do attitudeProactive and flexiblePC literate with good experience of MS OfficeExcellent communication skills - both written and verbal, with strong numeric and analytical skillsAbility to work calmly and effectively under pressure in order to prioritise workload and meet client deadlinesAbility to take responsibility and ownership and use initiativeExcellent attention to detailEnthusiasm and inclination to learn and develop professionallyHighly motivated, with demonstrated problem solving and organisational skillsCandidates must be flexible and adaptable enough to be able to work in a variety of roles in a rapidly changing environment.SALARY, WORKING HOURS & BENEFITS£25,000 - £26,000.
