Senior Casualty Underwriter We are working closely with a global Insurance Company who are known for delivering innovation underwriting solutions. After many years of successful trading there is a need to source a Senior New Business Casualty Underwriterwhich can be based out of their offices in either Birmingham or Manchester. As a Casualty Underwriter you will: Be responsible for working on some of the largest and most complex new business opportunities to provide excellent propositions to marketWork with a small panel of key brokers to identify and track opportunity by buildings a dynamic pipeline of risks that fit underwriting appetiteWork closely with Risk Control and Distribution to have a thorough understanding of the risks and gain commitment from partner brokers to work to convert opportunities. Provide support and guidance to less experienced colleagues to develop not only their technical knowledge but their soft skills and confidence to trade. As a Casualty Underwriter you will have: Detailed knowledge of Casualty Underwriting and excellent technical expertise and negotiation skills.Strong track record of new business trading in the local market. Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound business decisions effectively.
