This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, offering autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge inspection equipment.As Quality Inspector, you’ll be part of a company that designs and manufactures bespoke drive systems and distributes high-quality components across the UK. You’ll work in a modern facility with a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.As a Quality Inspector, you will benefit from: Overtime available at 1.5x rateAnnual salary reviews and recognition awardsEarly finish on FridaysFlexible start times25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, including Christmas shutdownCompany pension contributions (4% employer / 4% employee)Death in service schemeEnhanced paternity payPrivate medical insurance (after probation)Sickness benefits (after probation) As Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will include: Conducting first-off, roving, and final inspections of components and assembliesCreating and maintaining programs and processes for automated measurement equipmentLiaising with other departments on engineering issues and participating in technical discussionsSegregating defect parts, reviewing and collating inspection dataProviding regular feedback on tasks and productivity, and flagging issues earlySupporting general administration, housekeeping, and company H&S and quality standards As Quality Inspector, your experience will include: Experience in a fast-paced engineering environmentAbility to interpret engineering drawings and terminologySkilled in using measurement tools including callipers, micrometres, height gauges, and shadow graphsGood working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelAwareness of Health & Safety practices If you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
