Job Role & Key Responsibilities: Join a fast-paced, automated food manufacturing site as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, ensuring equipment reliability and production efficiency. Youll tackle faults, carry out planned maintenance, and drive improvements across processing, packaging, and site services. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair faults quickly to minimise downtime.Perform planned and preventative maintenance using SAP PM.Ensure safe working practices and compliance with H&S and Food Safety standards.Lead improvement projects to boost plant reliability, efficiency, and energy performance.Support the development of maintenance strategies and reliability-centred maintenance.Collaborate with production, hygiene, and safety teams to maintain performance. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, or equivalent).Experience in a fast-paced FMCG or automated environment.Knowledge of PUWER, IOSH, and Food Safety legislation.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.A proactive, hands-on approach and flexibility to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern. Desirable Skills: Experience with PLC-controlled systems and continuous improvement methods.Knowledge of reliability-centred maintenance (RCM).Strong communication and teamwork skills.
