We're looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Blue Collar Construction team at ITS Building People in Southampton, specialising in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) recruitment. The Role As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you'll manage and grow your own M&E desk, specialising in temporary and contract placements across roles such as electricians, plumbers, mechanical mates, pipefitters etc. Your responsibilities will include: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates. Generating new business opportunities through outbound sales calls, networking, and client visits. Attracting skilled candidates through advertising, social media, and proactive resourcing. Working with a dedicated Resourcer to deliver quality placements efficiently. Meeting and exceeding sales and performance targets. What We're Looking For We're after someone who is: Energetic, driven, and ambitious. Experienced in recruitment (3+ years) - ideally within construction, M&E, or technical sectors. A natural relationship-builder with strong communication and sales skills. Motivated to grow their desk and progress quickly. A driver with a full UK licence (essential).
