Software Engineer Edinburgh 12-Month Contract Paying up to £68p/h (Inside IR35) Please note - due to the nature of the work, you will need to hold or be eligible to obtain a high level of UK Security clearance - please only apply if suitable Key Responsibilities: Support the creation and delivery of software solutions within a defined work package area, ensuring that the package meets all stakeholder requirements Establish and mature stakeholder needs, associating/attributing priority, interest, influence and trading-off needs to determine optimum capability to solve stakeholders? problems Create high quality and robust code; for fully documenting and recording your work products; keeping them under configuration management and providing plans and reports on progress to your line manager Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure architecture alignment with other elements of the programme. Contribute to the resolution of emerging issues by proposing and driving through solutions, escalating more complex risks and supporting definition of opportunities and risk mitigation options Required Skillset: Experience of designing solutions using NI LabVIEW and NI Lab Windows/CVI.
