Early Years Practitioner (2-Year-Old Provision)Location: Waltham ForestSalary: £90-£100 per dayStart Date: January 2026Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)Agency: Tradewind Recruitment Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a small, welcoming Primary School in Waltham Forest as they seek a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their provision for 2-year-olds from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurturing, enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about early childhood development and committed to providing children with the very best start to their learning journey. The successful candidate will work as part of a warm and collaborative Early Years team, contributing to a stimulating environment where young children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore. The role involves delivering age-appropriate learning experiences, supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development, and maintaining excellent communication with parents and staff. The school prides itself on its caring ethos, strong community links, and commitment to fostering curiosity and independence in its youngest learners. Candidates should hold: A recognised Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years Education or equivalent) A solid understanding of the EYFS framework Experience supporting young children in a nursery or early years setting Strong communication skills and a patient, positive approach This full-time, term-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and enjoys helping young children grow, develop, and achieve early milestones.
