A vibrant secondary school in Waltham Forest is hiring a Graduate Science Technician to join their team in January 2026. If you love science and enjoy practical, hands-on work, this role gives you the chance to support engaging experiments and help maintain a busy science department. This is an excellent stepping stone for graduates interested in teaching, research or laboratory careers. Day-to-day responsibilities: Preparing materials and equipment for biology, chemistry and physics practicals Supporting teachers and students during experiments Ensuring labs remain safe, tidy and compliant with regulations Maintaining stock, equipment and chemical inventories The school is looking for: A science graduate (any discipline welcome) Someone reliable, organised and willing to learn A candidate with good awareness of lab safety (training provided) A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving What's on offer: Excellent training and guidance from an experienced science team CPD through the National College Real experience that supports careers in education or lab-based roles To apply, send your CV to tom.england@twrecruitment.com .
