GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Sheffield (S35).As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping students develop strong communication skills, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of English language and literature. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers or ECTs who are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment.Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.Teach a range of topics within English Language and Literature.Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track attainment.Create an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations.Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and enrichment activities. English TeacherRequirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is desirable.Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
