The Best Connection is currently recruiting AD HOC HGV Class 2 Drivers for clients based in the Croydon area. We are seeking reliable and experienced drivers to support a range of ongoing assignments. Working Hours Days: Monday to Saturday Start Times: Between 05:00 - 13:00 Finish Times: Between 16:00 - 23:00 Pay Rates £17.00 - £19.00 per hour Holiday pay not included in pay rates Overtime available Role Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you may be required to undertake a variety of assignments, including: Event and production transport with no loading and unloading Delivering scaffolding equipment with no loading and unloading Multi-drop deliveries of food and catering items Multi-drop deliveries of building materials Other general Class 2 driving tasks as required Requirements Full UK Driving Licence Category C entitlement No more than 6 penalty points Valid CPC Card Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card Benefits of Working with The Best Connection 28 days paid annual leave (pro rata for PAYE, including statutory holidays) Weekly pay Online payslips Pension contributions Access to ongoing temporary assignments
