Behaviour and Inclusion MentorMainstream secondary schoolFull time role We are a dynamic, inclusive and ambitious school in the borough of Kensington & Chelsea. We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour and Inclusion Mentor to join our Pastoral Team and support students at risk of disengagement or exclusion.This is a rewarding role for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference in young people’s lives by offering mentoring, advocacy and structured behavioural support.Why this role?You will work one-on-one with pupils, helping them set and achieve personal goalsYou’ll play a central role in our trauma-informed and restorative behaviour approachYou’ll be part of a diverse, inclusive team that values care as much as academic rigourThe role includes ongoing training and development in youth engagement, mental health and SENDYou will:Build positive, trusted relationships with studentsSupport transitions back into class or between provisionsCollaborate with families, external services and internal staffHelp run small group interventions on emotional regulation and resilienceExperience in any of the following is advantageous:Youth work or PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) experienceSocial work, mentoring, or pastoral support rolesSEND, SEMH or safeguarding environmentsAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
