Job Title: Principal Registered Building Inspector (Class 2A-F / Class 3) Salary: Competitive - dependent on experience and competency Hours: 35 hours per week Start Date: To be confirmed The Role We are seeking an experienced Principal Registered Building Inspector to join the Building Control team. Working as a Registered Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with Building Regulations across a wide range of developments. Key Responsibilities Hold a minimum Class 2A-F competency (Class 3 desirable). Provide expert technical advice on building control and regulatory matters. Undertake detailed inspections of building work in progress, including plan checking and final inspections, to ensure full compliance with Building Regulations. Manage an appropriate caseload of building control applications. Work collaboratively with internal departments and/or other Registered Building Inspectors to ensure compliance on projects as required. Assist and deputise for the Team Manager when appropriate. Attend the office at least two days per week, with additional attendance as required.
