Team Leader - HMP BrixtonLocation: BrixtonSalary: £33,082 per annumClosing date: 12 Jan 2026About The RoleAre you passionate about leading teams and making a real difference in people’s lives?We’re looking for a Team Manager to lead a dedicated team of practitioners delivering tailored health and wellbeing interventions to adults experiencing drug and alcohol misuse. This is a vital role in supporting service users on their journey to recovery through a range of evidence-based approaches, including harm reduction, abstinence-focused treatment, and support for low-level mental health needs.What you’ll be doing: Managing and supporting a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality, person-centred careAllocating caseloads and overseeing the management of complex casesEnsuring performance targets, quality standards, and reporting deadlines are consistently metSupporting the Service Manager with data accuracy and timely data submissionsActing as the senior representative on site when required and deputising for the Service ManagerBuilding and maintaining effective partnerships with external agencies and stakeholdersCreating a positive team culture that promotes continuous learning and development What we’re looking for:Proven experience in managing or supervising teams in a health, social care or substance misuse setting Strong organisational and decision-making skillsThe ability to lead by example and manage complex cases effectivelyA collaborative approach to partnership workingA commitment to high standards of care, confidentiality, and service improvement This is a great opportunity for a confident and compassionate leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to supporting individuals to make positive life changes.Please note this role includes a Interim allowance reviewed every 6-months, basic salary based on 35 hours would be £30,082.00.
