Inclusion Support Practitioner - Thrapston
Location: Thrapston, Northamptonshire Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term (with potential to go permanent) Salary: Competitive daily rate, depending on experience

Our partner secondary schools in Thrapston are looking for enthusiastic and caring Inclusion Support Practitioners to join their teams from January 2026. This is a long-term role where you can make a genuine difference, supporting students who benefit from extra guidance and encouragement.
You'll be an important part of the school community, working closely with teachers, SEN teams, and pastoral staff to ensure every student feels supported, included, and able to succeed.
What the Role Involves
Supporting students with additional needs, both 1:1 and in small groups
Helping pupils stay focused, engaged, and confident in lessons
Assisting teachers with preparing resources and organising classroom activities
Working with students with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties
Promoting positive behaviour, independence, and self-esteem
Contributing to a safe, welcoming, and inclusive school environment
Encouraging participation in extra-curricular activities and enrichment programs
We're Looking for Someone Who:
Is passionate about helping young people succeed
Can remain patient, calm, and approachable in all situations
Communicates confidently with both students and staff
Can adapt quickly to the varied needs of different learners
Has experience working with children or young people (desirable, but not essential)
Is reliable, friendly, and keen to learn and develop professionally
