Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design: Define end-to-end SSAM architecture covering mobile applications, SAP Mobile Services/BTP, back-end systems (S/4HANA PM/EAM or ECC), APIs (OData/SAP Gateway), identity management, and offline synchronisation.
Solution Translation: Convert business process requirements (work order management, notifications, inspections, time confirmations, materials, asset master data, route planning) into scalable SSAM designs.
Dynamic Configuration: Implement dynamic forms and configure fields/values based on business needs.
Data Modeling: Establish mappings for functional locations, equipment, work orders, operations, components, measurement points/readings, checklists, catalogs, and task lists.
Security & Infrastructure: Collaborate with SAP Basis, Security, and Infrastructure teams on device management (MDM/MAM), certificates, SSO, OAuth/SAML, and secure connectivity (reverse proxy/VPN).
Functional Expertise: Demonstrate strong knowledge of S/4HANA PM/EAM (or SAP ECC PM), including work order processes, notification management, maintenance planning, and technical object structures.
Integration Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP Mobile Services / SAP BTP, OData, SAP Gateway, CDS views, and integration patterns.
Extended Capabilities: Familiarity with GIS integration (ESRI/ArcGIS), barcode/RFID scanning, camera/image capture, digital signatures, and work permits.
The role is 1-2 days on site per week.
