Mindera are currently on the lookout for a Solutions Architect to join us on a contract basis. You will provide technical authority and architectural coherence across a fragmented CCTV estate. The role ensures that security hardening, lifecycle upgrades and future platform designs are secure, compliant, scalable and operationally viable.You will also own architectural standards and technical decision making for the CCTV domain.This is a hybrid position and comes with 3 days per week on client site in either Paddington or Heathrow area. RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesLead technical discovery of CCTV platforms including servers, operating systems, firmware, storage and network connectivityDefine target architecture principles for secure, compliant and supportable CCTV platformsDesign interim architectures to enable safe hardening and upgrades without service disruptionOwn security architecture covering identity, access management, credential rotation and patching strategyDefine standards for platform hosting, networking, monitoring, logging and resilienceAssess vendor platforms and technologies for future CCTV modernisation and AI enablementEnsure alignment with enterprise cloud, infrastructure and security standardsProvide architectural governance, decision support and technical risk assessmentDocument architectural decisions, constraints and trade offs clearly for assurance and auditRequired Skills and ExperienceStrong background in infrastructure and platform architectureDeep understanding of Windows and Linux operating systemsStrong experience with identity and access management, patching and vulnerability managementExperience with cloud hosted and hybrid infrastructure environmentsKnowledge of monitoring, logging and alerting platforms used in enterprise estatesCCTV or physical security platform experience desirable but not essentialBenefitsCompetitive day rate
