Mindera are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join us on a contract basis. You will be responsible for delivery execution, team leadership and operational stability. The role ensures work is delivered safely, predictably and in a way that protects live store operations and security services. Alongside this you will also own delivery planning, risk management and engineering quality.This is a hybrid position that comes with 3 days per week on client site at either Paddington or Heathrow area.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the CCTV engineering team delivering governance, hardening and upgradesPlan and sequence work across stores to minimise operational disruptionImplement delivery governance including change control and release coordinationEnsure secure working practices and compliance with security policiesCoordinate closely with security operations and incident management teamsTrack delivery progress, risks, dependencies and capacityEnsure high quality documentation including runbooks and operational handover materialsSupport the development of sustainable engineering practices and ways of workingRequired Skills and ExperienceProven experience leading infrastructure or platform engineering teamsStrong delivery management and operational risk handling skillsExperience working in security sensitive or regulated environmentsAbility to balance delivery pace with service stability and risk controlComfortable working across distributed estates and legacy platformsBenefitsCompetitive day rate
