Location: Greater Manchester Job Type: Full-Time / Long-Term / Short-Term Salary: £160 – £220 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP / January starts availableAbout the Role Cover People are working closely with a number of welcoming secondary schools across Greater Manchester who are seeking English Teachers to deliver engaging and impactful lessons across KS3 and KS4.This role is ideal for teachers with experience in English Language and/or English Literature, who are passionate about literacy, communication, and helping students build confidence in reading and writing.Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in supportive schools that value high-quality teaching and student progress.The Role Will Involve Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 Teaching English Language and/or Literature Supporting reading, writing, and exam preparation Marking, assessment, and feedback Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching English at secondary level Strong classroom and behaviour management Passion for student progress and literacy Right to work in the UK Why Work with Cover People?
