Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant Location: Hull Salary: £90 – £105 per day (Depending on Experience) Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-timeAre you a caring and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant looking to support young learners in their early educational journey? GSL Education are seeking dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming primary schools across Hull.As a Primary Teaching Assistant (Primary TA), you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing, helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.Responsibilities: Support pupils with their learning in the classroom, individually or in small groups.Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and participation.Provide additional support to pupils with SEN when required.Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.Support with classroom routines and activities throughout the school day. Primary TA Requirements: Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is desirable.A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.CACHE Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance is preferred but not mandatory.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
